History

Al Giarratana and Eric Henry followed their fathers, Paul Giarratana and Bill Henry, into the Cement and Trowel Trades, and after working together for twenty-five years, Al and Eric — in the spirit of how concrete work used to be — partnered in 2004 and incorporated as The City Cement Concrete Construction Company.

 

In 2015, Dino Giarratana became head of City Cement's Office and Bryan Connaghan moved up to General Field Superintendent.  The following year, 2016, Al and Eric withdrew from their everyday duties

 

Today, Dino is responsible for all City Cement's Office functions and Bryan oversees the City Cement Field. Al and Eric remain involved in advisory roles, with each sharing in the title Founder.

The Company

City Cement chooses to work with the best Contractors, Developers, and Owners, and to maintain these relationships and set the Company apart, City Cement will always do what it said it could.

 

To further set the Company apart, City Cement has established solid, lasting relationships with its vendors as well. The Company’s suppliers and subcontractors routinely go way beyond ordinary expectations because of what is truly simple — City Cement pays everyone in thirty days or less.

 

City Cement knows it’s all about maintaining relationships.  Much of City Cement’s business is with those initial customers, suppliers and even employees with which City Cement began its first projects.
